Jim's a 4th generation Montanan who's worn Wranglers since he could walk, and has had a lifelong dream of owning and operating his own ranch. His hands-on knowledge with animals and equipment is outstanding, based on over 25 years of experience working on cattle ranches in Montana, as well as packing horses and mules for wilderness outfitters, and working for livestock auction companies. But he won't tell you how good he is at what he does. Humble and humorous, he's always willing to lend a hand, and is thrilled to lead his family in ranching adventures.

An ex-vegetarian-turned-rancher, Carly's love and care for animals has been a lifelong theme. She earned a master's degree in wildlife biology from the University of Montana, and has worked as a professional wildlife biologist for local, state, and federal agencies for nearly 20 years. Those experiences, contacts, and education translate well into networking for local beef sales, developing conservation plans, and soliciting resources to improve the habitat quality of the ranch. Tough-skinned but soft-hearted, she jumps in wherever needed, and makes sure all creatures are treated with kindness and respect.
Trainee, Egg Guy, Son
Clay's been riding horses since he was old enough to sit up, and his first word truly was "Moo." You'd be hard-pressed to meet a nicer, more responsible kid. In addition to tons of help with the cattle, he also loves raising chickens and selling eggs to make his spending money. He has a great imagination for designing new equipment to help on the ranch. We're excited to see him learn and grow alongside us, and to see where these experiences lead him in the future.
